Integrity Home Technologies
Effective Date: November 5, 2026
Welcome to Integrity Home Technologies. These Terms of Service govern the services, installations, products, and payment transactions provided by Integrity Home Technologies ("Integrity," "we," "us," or "our"). By requesting services, approving an estimate or proposal, authorizing an installation, or making a payment, you ("Customer" or "you") acknowledge that you have read and agree to the applicable terms outlined below.
These terms are intended to establish clear expectations regarding our services, payments, warranties, installations, and customer responsibilities.
1. Services Provided
Integrity Home Technologies provides residential and commercial home technology services, which may include:
Landscape, outdoor, pool, deck, and patio lighting installation.
Permanent exterior lighting systems.
Security camera and surveillance system installation.
Home security and automation systems.
Television mounting and audio/video installation.
Whole-home audio and entertainment systems.
Home networking, Wi-Fi, and connectivity solutions.
Low-voltage wiring, equipment installation, and related services.
The specific services, materials, equipment, labor, and installation details for each project will be outlined in an estimate, proposal, invoice, or other written agreement.
Services not specifically included in an approved proposal are considered outside the original project scope and may require additional charges.
2. Estimates, Proposals, and Project Changes
Estimates and proposals are based on the information available at the time of inspection or consultation. Actual project requirements may change if unforeseen conditions are discovered during installation.
Any changes to the original scope of work, including additional equipment, materials, labor, or installation requirements, may result in additional costs.
Where reasonably practicable, Integrity will communicate proposed changes and obtain customer approval before proceeding with additional work.
Verbal discussions or informal recommendations do not automatically modify an approved written proposal. Changes to project scope and pricing should be documented and approved in writing.
3. Payment Terms and Credit Card Processing
Integrity Home Technologies accepts all major credit cards and available online payment methods.
By submitting payment information or authorizing a transaction, you authorize Integrity Home Technologies and its designated payment processing providers to process the payment for the agreed-upon services, products, deposits, or outstanding balances.
The following conditions apply:
Payment amounts and applicable payment schedules will be communicated through the estimate, proposal, invoice, or other written agreement.
Deposits or advance payments may be required for certain projects, equipment purchases, or special-order materials when outlined in the approved proposal.
Remaining balances are due according to the payment terms established in the applicable invoice or agreement.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and valid payment information.
If a payment is declined, reversed, or otherwise unsuccessful, the customer remains responsible for the outstanding balance.
Customers should contact Integrity promptly if they believe a payment has been processed incorrectly or an unauthorized transaction has occurred.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. These providers may have their own terms, conditions, and privacy policies governing payment processing and the handling of financial information.
Any applicable processing fees or additional charges will be disclosed before payment authorization where required by law.
4. Warranty Information
Integrity Home Technologies works with a variety of equipment, fixtures, manufacturers, and technology providers. Warranty coverage depends on the products purchased and the specific services performed.
ProTrade Fixture Warranty
ProTrade-branded fixtures carry a two-year warranty.
This warranty applies to eligible ProTrade fixtures and is subject to the applicable warranty terms, conditions, and exclusions established for those products.
Customers should retain their purchase documentation and contact Integrity Home Technologies for assistance with questions regarding eligible ProTrade fixture warranty claims.
Manufacturer Warranties
Products and equipment supplied by third-party manufacturers may carry separate manufacturer warranties.
Any applicable manufacturer warranty is passed through to the customer and remains the responsibility of the original manufacturer.
Integrity Home Technologies does not independently administer, extend, or guarantee manufacturer warranties. Warranty coverage, eligibility, duration, exclusions, replacement decisions, and claim procedures are determined by the respective manufacturer.
Customers may need to contact the manufacturer directly to initiate a warranty claim or obtain replacement equipment.
Installation and Workmanship
Any separate workmanship or installation warranty offered by Integrity Home Technologies will be identified in the applicable written proposal, invoice, or warranty documentation.
Manufacturer product warranties and installation workmanship warranties are separate and should not be confused with one another.
Nothing in these terms is intended to eliminate any warranty or consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded.
Warranty Exclusions
Unless otherwise covered by an applicable written warranty or required by law, warranty coverage may not extend to damage or failures resulting from:
Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper operation of equipment.
Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations.
Improper maintenance or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.
Electrical surges, lightning, power fluctuations, or other external electrical events.
Water intrusion, flooding, extreme weather, or environmental conditions beyond the product's intended operating specifications.
Physical damage caused by customers, occupants, pets, landscaping activities, contractors, or other third parties.
Normal wear and tear or cosmetic deterioration.
Internet, network, power, or third-party service interruptions.
Equipment or materials supplied or installed by others.
Warranty exclusions are subject to the actual terms of the applicable warranty and any protections required by law.
5. Installation Conditions and Existing Property
Customers are responsible for providing Integrity Home Technologies with reasonable access to the property and installation areas necessary to complete the agreed-upon work.
Customers should disclose known conditions that could affect installation, including:
Existing electrical or low-voltage wiring issues.
Known underground utilities, irrigation lines, or buried obstacles.
Existing structural damage or unsafe installation conditions.
Known water intrusion or moisture problems.
Existing network, internet, or electrical limitations.
Restrictions imposed by homeowners associations, property managers, or other governing entities.
Integrity will exercise reasonable care when performing installation work. However, unforeseen or concealed conditions may require adjustments to the project scope, installation approach, schedule, or cost.
Integrity is not responsible for pre-existing defects, concealed conditions, or damage caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer, subject to applicable law.
6. Electrical, Networking, and Third-Party Systems
Many home technology products depend on existing electrical infrastructure, internet connectivity, wireless networks, mobile applications, software platforms, and third-party services.
While Integrity Home Technologies makes reasonable efforts to ensure installed equipment operates as intended, uninterrupted operation cannot be guaranteed.
Performance may be affected by circumstances outside Integrity's control, including:
Internet service provider outages or interruptions.
Weak Wi-Fi signals or inadequate network coverage.
Electrical outages, surges, or fluctuations.
Manufacturer software updates or discontinued support.
Third-party application changes or service interruptions.
Compatibility issues involving existing equipment.
Changes to customer network settings, passwords, or configurations.
Integrity is not responsible for interruptions, failures, or limitations caused by third-party services, infrastructure, or equipment outside its control.
7. Outdoor and Permanent Lighting Systems
Outdoor lighting installations are exposed to environmental conditions that may affect equipment performance and appearance over time.
Customers acknowledge that outdoor fixtures, wiring, connections, and lighting systems may be exposed to rain, moisture, soil conditions, temperature fluctuations, sunlight, landscaping activities, and other environmental factors.
Lighting performance and appearance may also be affected by changes to landscaping, vegetation growth, property modifications, and surrounding structures.
Permanent lighting systems may rely on manufacturer-specific applications, software, controllers, wireless connectivity, and other third-party technologies. Certain features may depend on continued manufacturer support and compatible devices.
Customers are responsible for following manufacturer maintenance and operating instructions after installation.
8. Scheduling, Access, and Project Delays
Installation dates and completion estimates are provided in good faith but may be affected by circumstances outside Integrity Home Technologies' reasonable control.
Potential delays include:
Severe weather or unsafe working conditions.
Equipment or material availability.
Manufacturer or supplier shipping delays.
Unexpected property or installation conditions.
Permit or inspection requirements.
Customer-requested changes.
Third-party service or utility interruptions.
Integrity will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant scheduling changes.
Customers are responsible for arranging access to the property and ensuring that installation areas are reasonably accessible at the scheduled appointment time.
9. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds
Customers who need to cancel or reschedule an appointment should contact Integrity Home Technologies as soon as reasonably possible.
If a project is canceled after materials have been ordered, work has begun, or expenses have been incurred, the customer may remain responsible for completed work, materials purchased, special-order items, and other nonrecoverable project expenses, to the extent permitted by law and the applicable agreement.
Refund eligibility will depend on the circumstances of the cancellation, the status of the project, applicable supplier return policies, and any written agreement between the parties.
Any refunds or credits approved by Integrity will be processed using an appropriate payment method.
Nothing in this section limits any cancellation or refund rights provided by applicable consumer protection laws, including legally required cancellation periods.
10. Customer Responsibilities
To help ensure a successful installation, customers agree to:
Provide accurate information about the property and requested services.
Provide reasonable access to installation areas.
Secure pets and keep children and unauthorized individuals away from active work areas.
Identify known underground utilities, irrigation systems, and concealed wiring.
Disclose relevant property restrictions and existing equipment limitations.
Provide necessary access to internet networks, applications, and equipment when required.
Obtain any property owner, landlord, or homeowners association approvals that are the customer's responsibility.
Follow manufacturer instructions for the operation and maintenance of installed equipment.
Review completed work and communicate any concerns in a timely manner.
Customers should not attempt to modify, repair, or interfere with installed electrical or technology systems in a manner that could create a safety hazard or affect equipment operation.
11. Permits, Codes, and Property Approvals
Certain projects may require permits, inspections, property approvals, or compliance with local building and electrical codes.
Responsibility for obtaining permits and approvals will be established in the applicable project agreement and determined by the nature of the work and applicable law.
Customers are responsible for obtaining permissions from property owners, landlords, homeowners associations, or other parties when those permissions are required from the property owner.
All work performed by Integrity Home Technologies will be subject to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Integrity Home Technologies will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use, installation, operation, or inability to use products or services.
This may include losses associated with:
Third-party equipment or manufacturer defects.
Internet, software, or application interruptions.
Loss of connectivity or system availability.
Unauthorized access to customer networks or third-party platforms.
Pre-existing property or infrastructure conditions.
Events outside Integrity's reasonable control.
Integrity Home Technologies is not an insurance provider or monitoring service unless a separate written agreement expressly establishes those services.
Installation of security cameras, lighting, or other security-related equipment does not guarantee the prevention of theft, property damage, unauthorized access, or other criminal activity.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other non-waivable legal obligations.
13. Security Cameras, Monitoring, and Customer Privacy
Security cameras and surveillance equipment are intended to provide customers with additional visibility and monitoring capabilities.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the placement and use of cameras comply with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
This includes respecting the privacy rights of neighbors, visitors, employees, tenants, and other individuals.
Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate passwords, account credentials, network security, and access permissions for their installed systems.
Unless separately agreed to in writing, Integrity Home Technologies does not provide continuous security monitoring, emergency response, or law enforcement dispatch services.
14. Equipment Ownership and Manufacturer Support
Products and equipment supplied as part of a project will be subject to the payment and ownership terms established in the applicable agreement.
Customers are responsible for retaining relevant product documentation, warranty information, application credentials, and other materials provided upon completion.
Some equipment may require registration with the manufacturer or activation through a third-party account.
Integrity Home Technologies is not responsible for manufacturer discontinuation, changes to product functionality, discontinued software support, or changes to third-party services.
15. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Customers are encouraged to contact Integrity Home Technologies directly with questions or concerns regarding invoices, charges, or payment transactions so that potential issues can be reviewed.
If a customer believes a transaction is incorrect or unauthorized, they should promptly contact Integrity and their financial institution or payment provider, as appropriate.
Customers retain all applicable rights to dispute transactions through their card issuer or payment provider.
Integrity Home Technologies reserves the right to provide relevant estimates, invoices, payment authorizations, service records, and other supporting documentation when responding to legitimate payment disputes.
16. Force Majeure
Integrity Home Technologies will not be held responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
These circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, fire, utility outages, labor disruptions, supplier shortages, transportation interruptions, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
Integrity will make reasonable efforts to resume affected services when conditions allow.
17. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Integrity Home Technologies encourages customers to communicate directly with the company regarding concerns or disagreements related to services, payments, installations, or warranties.
The parties will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes informally before pursuing other available remedies.
Any dispute will be governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction where the services are performed, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Nothing in these terms is intended to waive a customer's statutory rights or restrict access to remedies available under applicable law.
18. Changes to These Terms
Integrity Home Technologies reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service as business practices, services, technology, or applicable legal requirements change.
The most current version will be published on the Integrity Home Technologies website with its effective date.
Updates will not retroactively eliminate rights or obligations established under an existing written agreement where prohibited by law.
19. Acceptance of Terms
By approving a proposal, authorizing services, signing a project agreement, or submitting payment for services, the customer acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to review these Terms of Service and agrees to the applicable provisions.
The specific terms outlined in an approved estimate, proposal, invoice, or separate written agreement will govern project-specific details. If a project-specific written agreement conflicts with these general Terms of Service, the project-specific agreement will control to the extent of the conflict, subject to applicable law.
These Terms of Service are intended to supplement, and not replace, any additional written agreements, manufacturer warranties, or consumer protections applicable to the customer's project.
